The home has the advantage of being located in a rural setting along with excellent community facilities in Silver End, including a small supermarket, post office, library and pubs. There are excellent bus links to the local towns and the town of Witham is 5 minutes drive away, with more extensive shopping facilities and many leisure facilities. From Witham there is a train link to London. There are other facilities within easy reach, such as churches, sports and leisure facilities, beaches and marina, hairdressers, colleges and parks.
